Overview

Join Arizona Geographic Alliance for a guided walk through the  history of the original Tempe town site.  Included in this tour will be descriptions of the development of the community within the broad patterns of state growth and development.  Visit ASU’s Old Main and the Old St. Mary’s Church, and the Governor Moeur and Birchett House. Discover how these buildings have been repurposed for current use while keeping their historic nature intact. This tour is approximately 1.25 miles.

• Cost: Free but donations welcome
• Date: Friday, October 18, 2024
• Time: 3:00pm to 5:00pm (MST).  Please arrive no later than 15 minutes prior to the start of the tour.
• Field Trip Check-In: NCGE Information/Registration table located at the Tempe Mission Palms Hotel Pre-function Ballroom.
• Recommended:
