SUMMARY:Mapping Vending Machines: Bring GIS Into Your Classroom
DESCRIPTION:Using GIS and doing fieldwork in my classroom always felt like it was just out of reach. It was intimidating and overwhelming. This activity attempts to break past that and give teachers a model to follow where students map and analyze geospatial data to solve a problem by answering the question: where is the nearest vending machine?
