We will then transition into a broader discussion, in which attendees will be encouraged to share their own experiences and raise questions for group consideration. She manages sponsored partnerships that support AAG\u2019s mission. Embury&#8217;s research focuses on spatial modeling, spatiotemporal data analysis, and the integration of big geospatial data into geographic applications. Embury has experience conducting geographic research and producing spatial models related to social equity issues such as food access, pollution burden, and disease vulnerability.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-16899 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/ncge.org\/staging\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/Herman.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"110\" height=\"110\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ncge.org\/staging\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/Herman.png 300w, https:\/\/ncge.org\/staging\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/Herman-150x150.png 150w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 110px) 100vw, 110px\" \/>Thomas Herman<\/strong> is a Research Fellow in the Department of Geography at San Diego State University where he is the Project Director for the Young People&#8217;s Environments, Society, and Space Research Center.
