He graduated with his Bachelor&#8217;s degree from The University\u00a0of Texas at Austin in 2013 and earned a Master&#8217;s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Sam Houston State\u00a0University in 2020. In addition to leading his department at the campus and\u00a0district level, he also acts as Mead Middle School&#8217;s campus sponsor for National History Day.
