About the Presenters
Seth Dixon is chair of the Political Science department at Rhode Island College and manages the website Geography Education. He is a former Chief Reader for AP Human Geography and Alliance Coordinator for the Rhode Island Geography Education Alliance.
Julie Wakefield is a 25 year veteran of teaching high school. In her semi-retired life, she is the Professional Development Coordinator for NCGE and adjunct instructor at the University of Nevada-Reno
Ken LeSage is 30+ veteran of teaching Geography. Ken uses his extensive global travels and his Professional Learning Communities to keep his content up to date and his teaching style accessible and relevant.
Shanna Davis has taught middle school for 20 years in Eugene, Oregon. She is a former National Geographic Educator Certification presenter and serves on the Center for Geography Education in Oregon Steering Committee.
