Jen Mapes is Assistant Professor of Geography at Kent State University, where she directs the Community Geography Lab, which makes maps for and with the local community. She’s the author of The New American Small Town: Lessons for Sustainable Urban Futures. Jen is a former (& future?) APHG reader.
